Happy Birthday Abby

This picture was taking the day we met you. 7 days old, a little over 4 pounds and already feisty.

I can't believe you are now 5. This year you have learned to swing all by yourself, whistle and chew gum without swallowing it. I love, love, love being your mommy. Happy Birthday doodle bug.

Need a Good Book?

I am in the middle of this book right now and let me tell you - it is so good. Like, neglect the family good. Thanks for the recommendation Rachel.
My friend Lois told me about this book a couple of years ago and I finally got around to reading it. I loved, loved, loved this book. It is a true story about a homeless man and a wealthy art dealer. A must, must, must read. Read it. Now. With a box of tissues.

What are you reading?

16 Years

Today, on a hot, humid day in the south, Adam and I were married. It is hard to believe that 16 years have gone by. When I look back, it is amazing how many things we have been through. I am sure that my 21 year old self could not have predicted where life would take us. But here I am. And I feel like one of the luckiest people on earth.

Happy Anniversary AC!

Happy Birthday Grandpa

Today is my sweet, sweet dad's birthday. Who would ever guess this guy is in his 70's?

Thanks for being the best dad and grandpa ever. We all love you very much.
