Well the snow and ice have given Abby and I both a week off school. It is like Christmas break take 2. I have loved
almost every minute of it.
Most of you know that I spent several years teaching kindergarten. Because of that, I have about 12 plastic storage tubs in my attic filled with fun things for 5 and 6 year olds. I pulled out the Winter tub a few days ago and Abby was excited about all the Bear things she found.

We made Bear Biscuits.

Stuffed and sewed a grocery bag bear.

We have also have read several bear books. Here is one of our faves.

Have you been snowed in this week? What are you doing to pass the time?

I love the grocery bag bear! It is so cute. Ellie has already asked me to get the bear biscuit recipe from you:)
We did NOTHING as crafty as that! I tried to make play-doh but the kids didn't want to play with it because it wasn't 'the real stuff.' Drat commercial toys!! :)
